Job summary

Q-tech is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Core Platform and data ecosystem for an international B2B SaaS in Life Sciences. You will define the vision, strategy and roadmap, partner with Platform leads and cross-functional teams, and translate complex platform topics into clear requirements.

Hybrid work model in Barcelona with global teammates, a strong focus on security, APIs and data workflows, and a commitment to growth, learning and travel to offices in Europe as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, in B2B SaaS, platform or data products.
• Proven track record delivering scalable platform/data products (SaaS architectures, event systems, shared services).
• Understanding of platform architecture, security, access management, APIs and data workflows.
• Strong product discovery skills: customer interviews, prototyping and MVP testing.
• Strategic mindset and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Core Platform and the data ecosystem.
• Lead discovery with internal and external stakeholders: form and test hypotheses, build prototypes and document solutions.
• Guide delivery from concept to adoption, collaborating with Platform and Data leads and other Product Managers.
• Define requirements for security, identity and access management, and integrations alongside Product, Marketing and Sales.
• Make data-driven decisions based on telemetry, KPIs and feature adoption.
• Participate in the team’s day-to-day: refinements, dailies and retrospectives.

Q-tech is hiring a Senior Product Manager with background in Core Platform for an international B2B SaaS company in the Life Sciences sector that builds quality and risk management solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.

The company has grown from a single product to a multi-product offering and plans to keep launching new solutions. That requires a strong core and data platform, so it is looking for someone to lead the platform strategy.

What you'll do

• Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Core Platform and the data ecosystem, in line with business and customer goals.
• Lead discovery with internal and external stakeholders, including business teams and clients' IT and InfoSec teams: form and test hypotheses, build prototypes and document solutions.
• Guide delivery from concept to adoption, working closely with the Platform and Data technical leads and the other Product Managers.
• Work with Product, Marketing and Sales to define requirements for security, identity and access management, and integrations.
• Make data-driven decisions based on telemetry, KPIs, feature adoption and technical debt.
• Take part in the team's day-to-day work: refinements, dailies and retrospectives.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, in B2B SaaS, platform or data products.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable platform or data products, such as SaaS architectures, event systems, notification hubs, and shared services and databases.
• Understanding of platform architecture, security, access management, APIs and data workflows, plus experience working with Engineering, Data and DevOps teams.
• Strong product discovery skills: customer interviews, prototyping and MVP testing.
• A strategic mindset and the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, compliance) is a plus.
• Availability for occasional travel to offices in Europe.
