Grupo Santander in Madrid is seeking a Senior Product Engineer / AI Solution Architect to shape AI-powered integration and migration products for our large-scale banking environment. You will turn roadmaps into reusable technical components and patterns within a small product-focused team, applying AI, LLMs, and workflow automation to enterprise contexts.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture or technical product development.
• Hands-on experience building or evolving digital products, platforms or automation tools.
• Practical experience with AI-enabled systems, LLMs, RAG and workflow design.
• Experience with APIs, enterprise integrations, cloud services and secure software delivery.
• Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Design reusable components, APIs, connectors, workflows and automation assets for scale across integration, modernization and decommissioning use cases.
• Apply AI, LLMs and workflow automation to enterprise scenarios, maturing prototypes into robust capabilities.
• Define guardrails, engineering practices and quality criteria aligned with Santander standards, governance, cybersecurity and cloud guidelines.
• Evaluate vendor and open-source solutions, contribute to buy-vs-build decisions and integrate selected capabilities into Santander environments.
• Contribute to reference architectures, documentation, playbooks and reusable patterns, supporting PoCs and early adoption feedback.
• Collaborate with Product Adoption & Value, Architecture, Cloud, vendors and country teams to translate needs into backlog inputs and technical recommendations.

As a Senior Product Engineer / AI Solution Architect, you will shape AI-powered integration and migration products for Santander’s large-scale banking environment. • Experience with APIs, enterprise integrations, cloud services, DevOps and secure software delivery.
• Experience collaborating with product owners, vendors, architects and delivery teams in complex environments.
• Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• Clear communication with non-specialist stakeholders
