Overview

Scopely is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join the Monopoly GO! team, supporting the Go! Chat team — a new initiative designed to help players connect, chat, and share experiences within the Monopoly GO! universe. This role will be part of a global analytics team supporting cross-functional partners across Canada’s West Coast and Spain, so some timezone flexibility is important.

Monopoly GO! is a key franchise that has become Scopely’s largest game, enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Canada, Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Product Analyst you will join a team of Product Analysts and Analytical Engineers, working to support the Monopoly GO! Chat team. In this role, partnering with internal data platform and data science teams, you will use data to generate player behavior insights and improve feature performance; from data modeling and event tracking, through to AB-testing, insightful analyses and recommendations that answer the game’s most complex and challenging questions. This is an individual contributor role with a lot of independence and responsibility, with building processes and taking end to end analytics projects. Key responsibilities may include:

  • Player & Product Insights: Analyze player interaction data to uncover how users engage with chat and social features; identify friction points and opportunities for richer connections
  • Data Storytelling: Translate complex behavioral data into clear, actionable recommendations that inform roadmap priorities
  • Experimentation & Optimization: Design and evaluate A/B tests and feature rollouts, helping the team iterate quickly and confidently
  • Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, UX designers, and data scientists to build features that enhance player communication and community engagement
  • Infrastructure & Quality: Define key metrics, validate event tracking, and ensure data reliability across multiple systems and sources
  • Timezone Collaboration: Partner seamlessly across teams in North America and Europe, with flexibility for occasional early or late meetings
What We’re Looking For
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence — ideally in mobile gaming, social platforms, or messaging apps
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large-scale data sets (BigQuery experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data processing and modeling
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Looker (preferred), Hex, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to turn data into compelling narratives for cross-functional audiences
  • Passion for mobile games, social products, and building experiences that connect people through play
