Job summary

MMB is recruiting a Process Engineer in Spain to deliver process design for water and wastewater systems. You will work with the project design team to optimise plant performance, build 3D models, perform hydraulic calculations, and ensure safety standards including MAS and CDM compliance.

You will travel to the UK regularly and contribute to bid analyses, datasheets, and technical documentation while maintaining high quality across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in water/wastewater process science/engineering related subject.
• Postgraduate qualification such as CIWEM or MSc is desirable.
• Member of a professional body and proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Process design of Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and/or sewerage/water systems.
• Quality control of work and team contribution.
• Incorporate process safety principles (LOPA/DSEAR).
• Collaborate with design team to develop 3D models and solutions.
• Prepare process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump calculations.
• Develop data sheets and perform technical bid analysis of third party equipment.
• Support the Process Discipline Head toward safety excellence and CDM compliance.
• Ensure all technical documents meet standards and MAS requirements.
• Escalate time/cost/quality risks to the Technical Manager.
• Communicate effectively across levels to ensure delivery of technical excellence.
