Zusammenfassung

SIG is seeking a Process Design Engineer to lead mechanical design of food processing equipment, with emphasis on aseptic and hot-fill technologies. You will develop complete systems, from process concepts to layouts and specs, collaborating across disciplines to optimize performance.

This role involves international travel and hands-on support during FAT/SAT, commissioning and start-up phases. You will work with Mechanical Design, Automation, R&D, PM, Product Management, and Operations, and

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical or related process industries.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical discipline.
• Strong CAD proficiency, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience with aseptic processing, filling tech or hygienic equipment design is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving in multidisciplinary, international environments.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Aufgaben

• Lead mechanical design of equipment for food processing and aseptic/hot-fill systems.
• Develop complete production systems with CIP/SIP and handling solutions.
• Drive system-level engineering, integration and optimization.
• Create process concepts, P&IDs, layouts and technical specs.
• Collaborate with design, automation, R&D, PM, product mgmt and operations.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Travel internationally to support projects and customer sites.
• Provide on-site technical support and process optimization.
