Preply is seeking a Senior Principal Applied AI Scientist to lead AI-driven, personalized learning initiatives for millions of learners worldwide. You will architect state-of-the-art models, shape the scientific roadmap, and influence product direction with autonomous leadership in a global team.

You will mentor scientists, collaborate across product and engineering, and set high standards for ML research, deployment pipelines, and scalable systems across the platform.

Formación

• PhD in NLP, IR, ML or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience in deep learning-based NLP and IR.
• Strong expertise in retrieval models, RAG and LLMs for real-world use.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deploy scalable ML solutions for personalized learning.
• Develop long-term scientific roadmaps aligned with product strategy.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to deliver AI solutions.
• Mentor scientists and engineers and foster a collaborative community.
• Establish best practices in ML architecture and deployment.
