Amazon is seeking a Senior Pre-Construction Manager for its Madrid-area Data Center Construction team. You will act as the primary liaison across Real Estate, Design Engineering, and Construction, guiding cost, schedule, and constructibility in early planning and development phases.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in Construction Site Management, managing big scale industrial and/or infrastructures projects.
• 7+ years of experience in End to End mission critical facilities (design, pre-construction, scheduling, construction and commissioning).
• Knowledge of civil, electric and mechanical engineering principles.
• Fluent English and Spanish speaker.
• Ability to travel ~40% of your time.

Responsabilidades

• Review and input into global standards and data center template designs.
• Independently support, overview and manage complex cross-functional Data Center projects from site selection to contract execution.
• Maintain scope progress by driving decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating as needed.
• Coordinate with real estate, design engineering, construction, finance, architects, engineers, permitting agencies and landlords to secure resources and drive results.
• Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals, including cost negotiations with developers and designers.
• Evaluate due diligences, schedule tracking, and identify factors that impede successful project hand-overs.
• Insist on high standards, drive accountability, and coach/discipline as needed.
