Job summary

Aspen Technology, headquartered in the United States, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for our Madrid office to design and deliver Emerson DGM control systems and provide ongoing customer support across Europe. The role involves working from Madrid and onsite at customer locations to ensure reliable performance and world-class satisfaction.

You will lead complex projects, manage hardware/software integration, and develop training materials while collaborating with engineering and sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or CS field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in C, C#, and Python programming.
• Experience with Linux and Windows OS, REST services.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer project meetings and design hardware/software on client systems.
• Configure and test hardware, software and networks per requirements.
• Provide technical sales support and training materials.
• Mentor engineers and develop training for the team.
• Travel to customer sites as required and support conversions.
