Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior System Engineer for its ES Regional Office in Madrid, Spain. This position involves designing power electronic converter systems and ensuring compliance with standards while working closely with multiple teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems and Power Electronics, and exhibit excellent communication skills. The role also offers competitive employee benefits and a commitment to health, safety, and environmental values.

Formación

• Strong background in power electronics and power systems.
• Experience in hydropower or railway sector is a plus.
• Fluency in English; German or additional languages are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Design power electronic converter systems.
• Own the system engineering scope throughout project execution.
• Perform system design tasks such as simulations and performance calculations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer specifications.
• Identify risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to the continuous development of engineering processes.
