Fundación Canaria Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Canarias is seeking a Senior Technician–Postdoctoral Researcher for a permanent full-time role, 35 hours per week. The project focuses on neurodegeneration-related biology and translational cell models.

PhD in Health Sciences is required, with experience in biomedical research and advanced molecular techniques. The selected candidate will plan experiments on zonulin in glioblastoma, develop organoid cultures, perform RT-qPCR and Western

Competenze

• PhD in Health Sciences or related field.
• Biomedical research experience.
• Experience with cellular models and organoids.

Mansioni

• Plan and conduct experiments on zonulin in glioblastoma under PI supervision.
• Maintain and characterize cell cultures, patient-derived cultures, and organoids; apply treatments and ensure quality control.
• Perform RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis and RT-qPCR; protein extraction and analysis via Western blot.
• Conduct immunofluorescence and image analysis; assess cell proliferation, migration and invasion.
• Manage samples, record results, and contribute to scientific communications and publications.
