eDreams ODIGEO in Barcelona is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to enhance our Data as a Service platform. You will implement Infrastructure as Code and work on automation for product deployment using CI/CD methodologies.

Senior Platform Engineer - (Hybrid)

We're seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our Data As A Service in Barcelona (Hybrid). In this role you will follow professional software engineering practices for the full Infrastructure as Code life cycle, including build processes, testing and operations.

What you will do

• Automate & scale: Design, implement, and maintain our platform configuration while ensuring sustainable availability, performance, and scalability.
• Streamline the lifecycle: Create efficient, automated product deployment lifecycles utilizing cutting‑edge CI/CD methodologies.
• Collaborate & innovate: Partner with other Platform teams to champion development best practices and break traditional engineering boundaries.

What you need to succeed

• At least 5+ years DevOps/DataOps/SRE experience.
• Solid experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, Crossplane.
• Experience with automation tools: Ansible.
• Experience with orchestrators: Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI systems, such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Oracle Databases, all related to the platform.
• Nice to have: Neo4J, Memgraph, DataStream.
• Good attitude, good communication and collaborative soul.

• Experience with applied AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
• Experimentation mindset: curiosity and eagerness to explore and integrate emerging AI‑driven solutions.
• AI‑enhanced problem solving: ability to leverage AI tools to debug code, streamline development processes, and enhance productivity.
• Adaptability and learning agility: enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features.
• Collaboration with AI tools as pair programmers to complement traditional software development practices.
