Nexthink’s Data Infrastructure team is seeking a seasoned engineer to own the data backbone across Kafka, databases, and streaming services. You will design, implement, and operate scalable, resilient systems on AWS, with an eye toward cross-region replication and observability.

You’ll collaborate with Architecture, Product Engineering, and Security to ensure high availability and performance while advancing cloud-native practices and self-service capabilities for product teams.

Formación

• 5+ years as Software/DevOps/Platform/SRE engineer with solid cloud infra background.
• Hands-on AWS across several regions, with IaC (Terraform or OpenTofu) and pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitOps).
• Kubernetes and Amazon EKS on Linux with Docker; experience upgrading/patching production workloads.
• Proficiency in Go and/or Python; strong English communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep platform areas moving.

Responsabilidades

• Design and improve data infrastructure in collaboration with Architecture, Product Engineering, and Security teams.
• Build tooling and automation to provision and scale infrastructure; enable self-service via Crossplane.
• Introduce new data stores (search, vector, in-memory) with the same standards.
• Engage with product teams to understand needs and shape the platform.
• Plan disaster recovery and cross-region replication with clear RPO/RTO targets.
• Monitor availability and performance with Datadog; respond to incidents end-to-end.
