Salt, a HealthTech company blending healthcare, AI and premium consumer experience, seeks a Senior / Lead Full Stack Engineer in Spain. You’ll own end-to-end features and work with leadership, clinical and operational teams to design and build technology used by clients and healthcare professionals.

You bring TypeScript/React, Node.js or Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, and a track record shipping real-world products in startup pace, including AI-powered features.

Formación

• Strong experience shipping real-world products within a startup or scale-up environment (Series A/B).
• Proficient in TypeScript and React / Next.js.
• Experience building backend apps with Node.js and/or Python.
• Production PostgreSQL expertise.
• Infrastructure hands-on with AWS.
• Full-stack scope across frontend and backend.
• Exposure to mobile app development.
• Solid understanding of APIs, data architecture and cloud environments.
• Experience shipping AI-powered features to production.
• Hands-on use of AI development tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Strong product mindset and autonomous decision-making.

We’re working with an ambitious, fast-growing HealthTech company. Combining cutting-edge healthcare, AI and a premium consumer experience, the business is developing a technology platform designed to transform how individuals and clinicians understand, manage and optimise long-term health.

This is a highly hands-on position with significant ownership. You’ll work closely with the leadership, clinical and operational teams to design and build technology used by both clients and healthcare professionals.

They're looking for a Senior / Lead Full Stack Engineer who is comfortable taking ownership and building products in a fast-moving environment.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Strong experience shipping real-world products within a startup or scale-up environment, ideally Series A/B stage
• Strong TypeScript and React / Next.js experience
• Experience building backend applications using Node.js and/or Python
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL in production environments
• Hands-on experience building and managing infrastructure within AWS
• Experience across both frontend and backend development
• Exposure to mobile application development
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data architecture and modern cloud environments
• Experience shipping genuine LLM / Generative AI-powered features into production
• Hands-on use of modern AI development and agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar
• A strong product mindset — able to understand a business or user problem and translate it into a simple, effective technical solution
• Comfortable operating with autonomy and making technical decisions without relying on a large engineering team

Previous HealthTech experience is useful but not essential. We're more interested in engineers who have built high-quality products at startup pace and are excited about applying AI to complex real-world problems.
