What you’ll do

As a Senior PHP Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and improving the backbone of our platform. You’ll write clean, efficient, and scalable code, design reliable databases, and tackle challenging problems that come with a global marketplace used by thousands every day. You’ll also help shape how we do things: sharing ideas, suggesting better ways to build, and mentoring teammates. Your day-to-day

• Develop, maintain, and scale backend services using PHP and Symfony.
• Design robust, optimized database structures and write efficient SQL queries.
• Use Git to manage version control and support clean, collaborative development.
• Support and help improve our DevOps practices (we like people comfortable with servers and deployments).
• Write tests and follow good testing practices (TDD, BDD) to ensure reliability.
• Contribute to system design — understanding patterns, architecture, and integration.
• Work with asynchronous systems, queues (RabbitMQ), and microservices when needed.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate daily with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful features.
• Maintain focus on code quality, scalability, and performance at every step.
