Formación

• 4+ años de experiencia profesional construyendo sistemas backend con PHP.
• Experiencia profunda en Symfony.
• Fuerte conocimiento de SQL, diseño de bases de datos y optimización de consultas.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar, mantener y escalar servicios backend utilizando PHP y Symfony.
• Diseñar estructuras de base de datos robustas y escribir consultas SQL eficientes.
• Contribuir al diseño del sistema, entendiendo patrones y arquitectura.

? What you’ll do

As a Senior PHP Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and improving the backbone of our platform. You’ll write clean, efficient, and scalable code, design reliable databases, and tackle challenging problems that come with a global marketplace used by thousands every day.

You’ll also help shape how we do things: sharing ideas, suggesting better ways to build, and mentoring teammates. If you’re someone who cares about best practices, loves shipping high-quality code, and enjoys collaborating across disciplines — you’ll fit right in.

• Develop, maintain, and scale backend services using PHP and Symfony.
• Design robust, optimized database structures and write efficient SQL queries.
• Use Git to manage version control and support clean, collaborative development.
• Support and help improve our DevOps practices (we like people comfortable with servers and deployments).
• Write tests and follow good testing practices (TDD, BDD) to ensure reliability.
• Contribute to system design — you understand patterns, architecture, and how things fit together.
• Work with asynchronous systems, queues (RabbitMQ), and microservices when needed.
• Take part in code reviews, share your knowledge, and help junior developers grow.
• Collaborate daily with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to deliver features that make a difference.
• Keep an eye on code quality, scalability, and performance at every step.

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of professional experience building backend systems with PHP.
• Deep expertise in Symfony.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and query optimization.
• Good understanding of version control workflows with Git.
• Solid grasp of DevOps basics — you’re comfortable troubleshooting, deploying, and helping keep things running smoothly.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working — we use Trello to stay organized.
• A proactive mindset — you take ownership, solve problems, and propose improvements.
• Passion for clean code, quality, and continuous learning.
• Fluency in Spanish and English
