Job summary

Syneos Health, LLC is seeking a Sr Safety & PV Specialist in Madrid with hybrid work flexibility. You will oversee pharmacovigilance systems, ensure timely safety reporting, and support SPVG/IDMP activities while aligning with GVP and ICH guidelines.

You will mentor less-experienced staff, coordinate cross-functional activities, and manage project risks and performance metrics within regional and global programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or equivalent; healthcare background.
• Experience with Safety Database systems and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of ICH GCP, GVP and regulatory safety requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow to ensure delivery of projects.
• Escalate issues with deliverables, budget and quality promptly.
• Support management of safety and pharmacovigilance project risks.
• Understand budgets, KPIs and change orders for studies.
• Assist in safety plans, reviews and audits as required.
• Mentor and guide junior team members when applicable.
