Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Pega Senior Architect / Tech Lead to drive end-to-end BPM and Java/Cloud programs, mentoring engineers and engaging senior stakeholders. The role is remote from Spain with English required and Spanish a plus.

You will lead design, governance, and delivery across distributed teams while advancing AI integration in enterprise workflows. Expect to shape delivery strategy, mentor diverse teams, and ensure client satisfaction through high-quality, timely outcomes across

Qualifications

10+ years of IT delivery experience with BPM/Java/Cloud exposure.
Proven delivery of large-scale programs or multiple projects end-to-end.
Strong Java/J2EE, REST APIs, and cloud technology background.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of BPM/Pega projects with quality and on-time results.
Act as primary client contact with business and IT leadership.
Drive solution design with Enterprise and Solution Architects.
Mentor multidisciplinary teams across geographies.
Oversee delivery across Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Cloud (Kubernetes), BPM platforms.
Ensure Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and SDLC governance.
Monitor quality through reviews, tests, and defect resolution.
Support pre-sales activities and practice growth with global leadership.
Promote AI/GenAI capabilities within BPM processes.
