Job summary

Cognizant Spain is seeking a Pega Senior Architect / Tech Lead (remote from Spain) to lead end-to-end BPM/Pega programs, coordinating with business and IT leadership across geographies. You’ll mentor engineers, define delivery strategy, and ensure high-quality outcomes using Java/J2EE, REST, and cloud technologies.

The role requires 10+ years in IT delivery, strong BPM/Java/Cloud expertise, and fluency in English, with Spanish a nice-to-have.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT delivery experience, with strong exposure to BPM / Java / Cloud ecosystems.
Proven experience delivering end-to-end large-scale programs or multiple projects.
Experience leading global and distributed teams; strong communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of BPM/Pega projects with quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
Act as primary contact for client stakeholders, including business and IT leadership.
Drive solution design with Enterprise and Solution Architects.
Mentor multidisciplinary teams across geographies.
Oversee delivery across Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Cloud (Kubernetes), and BPM platforms (Pega preferred).
Ensure Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and SDLC governance.
Monitor quality through reviews, testing strategies, and defect resolution coordination.
Support pre-sales activities, RFPs, and practice growth with global leadership.
Drive adoption of AI & GenAI capabilities within BPM processes and enterprise workflows.
Align delivery execution with business goals and measurable value realization.
