We are looking for an Observability & Monitoring Engineer to join our Platform Team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the monitoring and observability framework for our exchange applications. You will enable development and operations teams to achieve end-to-end visibility of critical platforms by delivering standardized, scalable, and automated monitoring solutions.

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and operate the observability stack (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, OpenTelemetry, BMC Helix) for market platforms
• Define and standardize metrics, logs, and tracing instrumentation across applications
• Build reusable monitoring templates and alerting rules to accelerate onboarding of new services
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure monitoring coverage and actionable alerting
• Drive improvements in incident detection, root‑cause analysis, and operational resilience through observability
• Act as a liaison with infrastructure and security teams for platform upgrades, integrations, and compliance
• Document standards and contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring practices

What You Bring

• Proven extensive experience in observability and monitoring for critical or high‑availability systems
• Hands‑on expertise with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic / ELK, OpenTelemetry, or BMC Helix
• Solid understanding of metrics, logs, traces, alerting, and SLO/SLA design
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD)
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally with developers and operators
• Proactive, communicative team player with a focus on operational excellence
• Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written), with ability to work in an international environment
