Job summary

Pasiona Consulting Sl busca un/a Ingeniero/a de Red Senior para liderar el diseño y la implementación de soluciones de red a escala global en Barcelona. La función abarca desde la arquitectura hasta la entrega y soporte de incidentes críticos.

La persona ideal dispone de 5–8 años en Ingeniería de Red L3, capacidad de liderar proyectos multiculturales y experiencia en entornos regulados. Se valora experiencia en migraciones a la nube y habilidades de comunicación para presentar ante dirección.

Qualifications

• 5–8 años de experiencia en Ingeniería de red L3.
• Al menos 3 años de experiencia en Arquitectura de red diseñando soluciones globales en entornos grandes o regulados.
• Titulación: Ingeniería o experiencia práctica equivalente (preferible Maestría).
• Conocimientos de Routing & Switching, Internet, Intranet, WAN/LAN, VPN, SD-WAN, SDN y SASE.
• Conocimiento de Firewalls, IPS, DDoS, Proxies, VPN B2B y controles de seguridad de aplicaciones.

Responsibilities

• Liderar el diseño, construcción y alineación estratégica de soluciones de red global para una empresa de servicios financieros transnacional.
• Desarrollar y mantener documentación de arquitectura, estándares técnicos y roadmaps tecnológicos a largo plazo.
• Liderar iniciativas de infraestructura global, incluidas migraciones a la nube y despliegues de soluciones de voz.
• Proporcionar soporte de escalamiento L3/L4 para incidencias críticas de red y guiar la resolución de problemas complejos.
• Impulsar la automatización de redes para cumplimiento de activos, endurecimiento de seguridad y eficiencia operativa.
• Supervisar entregas operativas, mejoras de procesos y gestión de proveedores en equipos multiculturales.
• Mentorizar y guiar a ingenieros para fomentar crecimiento técnico y transferencia de conocimiento.

Job description

• Lead the end-to-end design, build, and strategic alignment of global network architecture solutions for a transnational financial services business.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, network diagrams, and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Act as the technical lead across global infrastructure initiatives, including office moves, security enhancements, cloud migrations, and voice solution deployments.
• Provide L3/L4 technical escalation support for critical network incidents and guide complex troubleshooting.
• Drive network automation for asset compliance, security hardening, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee operational handovers, process improvements, vendor management, and collaboration across cross-functional, multi-regional teams.
• Mentor, train, and guide junior and peer engineering team members to foster technical growth and knowledge sharing
• Experience:
• 5–8 years of L3 Network Engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of Network Architecture experience designing global solutions in large, complex, or regulated environments.
• Education: Engineering Degree or equivalent practical experience (Master’s degree preferred).
• Core Technical Skills:
• Routing & Switching / Architecture: Deep expertise in Internet, Intranet, Extranet, WAN, LAN, MAN, VPN, SD-WAN, SDN, and SASE solutions.
• Network Security: Strong background in Firewalls, IPS, DDoS mitigation, Proxies, B2B VPN, and application security controls.
• Application & Delivery Networking: Load Balancing, WAF, QoS, and interoperation between cloud-based and branch/end-user networks.
• Core IP & Directory Services: DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP, Active Directory, Certificates, and Cloud Identity Management.
• Hosting & Remote Access: Hands‑on knowledge of On‑Prem, Colo, SaaS, PaaS, and remote access solutions (VPN Gateways, Citrix).
• Documentation: Advanced skills in producing technical diagrams and architectural documentation (e.g., Visio, PowerPoint).
• Methodologies & Soft Skills:
• Proven leadership, solution design, and matrixed organization collaboration across multiple geographies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership.
• Willingness to provide out-of-hours support and participate in international business travel as needed.
• Certifications: Professional or expert‑level certifications in Cisco (e.g., CCNP/CCIE), Palo Alto, Aruba, Cloud (AWS/Azure), or Network Security.
• Voice & Contact Center Solutions: Experience with enterprise voice networks (SIP, GSIP) and contact center infrastructure support.
• Advanced & Next-Gen Technologies: Exposure to distributed cloud network design, network automation frameworks, AI integration, and next‑generation networking tools.
