Job summary

Pasiona Consulting SL está buscando un Ingeniero de Infraestructura para mantener y mejorar servicios globales de infraestructura, trabajando en un entorno multinacional y con enfoque en seguridad y automatización.

Se valorará experiencia en virtualización (VMware/Hyper-V), Windows Server y Linux, Azure o AWS, y certificaciones relevantes. Trabajo presencial en Barcelona, con colaboración entre regiones y equipos.

Qualifications

• Certificaciones profesionales: Microsoft MCSA Windows Server, VMware, Linux o equivalent.
• Nutanix o Proxmox en tecnologías de virtualización.
• Experiencia con entornos Azure o AWS.
• 5+ años de experiencia como Ingeniero de Infraestructura.
• Grado en Telecomunicaciones, Informática o Ingeniería de Sistemas.
• Habilidades técnicas centrales: Virtualización (VMware o Hyper-V), Windows Server y Linux, almacenamiento, seguridad, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible), herramientas de monitorización (PRTG, Nagios), parcheo (WSUS/ManageEngine) e ITIL/Agile/DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Dar soporte y mantener servicios globales de infraestructura (S.O., virtualización, almacenamiento, copias de seguridad y parcheo).
• Gestionar operaciones y resolución de incidencias L2/L3 de infra y seguridad.
• Aplicar buenas prácticas de seguridad ( endurecimiento, gestión de configuración, mitigación de vulnerabilidades).
• Implemementar scripting y automatización para estandarizar entornos.
• Asegurar fiabilidad y disponibilidad mediante monitorización y gestión de servicios.
• Gestionar relaciones con proveedores durante despliegues globales (Identidad, Data Center, Red).
• Colaborar con equipos de Aplicación, Seguridad, Cloud y Citrix a nivel regional/global.
• Proponer e implementar procesos ITIL, Agile y DevOps.

Job description

• Support and maintain global infrastructure services (Operating Systems, Virtualization, Storage, Backup, and Patching) within a transversal team.
• Manage operations and Level 2 & Level 3 troubleshooting and maintenance for infrastructure and security issues.
• Apply security best practices, including system hardening, configuration management, vulnerability mitigation, and security enforcement.
• Implement scripting and automation techniques to standardize, optimize, and control environments.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability and availability through active monitoring, alerting, and service management.
• Oversee and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external service providers during major global infrastructure rollouts (Identity, Data Center, and Network programs).
• Collaborate across teams and regions, partnering with Application, Security, Cloud, and Citrix engineering teams.
• Propose and implement new processes and operational methods using ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Professional Certifications: Microsoft (e.g., MCSA Windows Server), VMware, Linux, Security certifications, or equivalent.
• Alternative Virtualization Technologies: Nutanix or Proxmox.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure or AWS environments.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in corporate environments.
• Education: Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Core Technical Skills:
• Virtualization: VMware or Hyper-V.
• Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Storage: Basic to advanced storage infrastructure management.
• Security & Tooling: Security best practices, system hardening, and tools such as Qualys.
• Scripting & Automation: Powershell, Bash, or Ansible.
• Monitoring: Hands-on experience with reliability monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios).
• Patching & Maintenance: Familiarity with tools like ManageEngine or WSUS.
• Methodologies & Governance: Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure Service Management, ITIL, Agile, and IT Security policies/regulations.
• Soft Skills & Languages:
• Fluent in English (written and verbal communication).
