Job summary

dLocal is seeking an MLOps Technical Referent to lead how we build, operate, and evolve our ML and AI infrastructure. You will own the technical direction of the MLOps stack, enable Data Science and AI teams from idea to production, and drive safe AI integration within engineering workflows.

You will also define infrastructure contracts, guardrails, and governance for model/data access and observability while mentoring engineers across squads.

Qualifications

• Owns or designs MLOps platforms used by multiple teams.
• Experience with distributed systems and data processing.
• Builds production-grade ML pipelines and model lifecycle management.
• Hands-on with Databricks, MLflow, and model deployment at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end ML platform architecture used by multiple squads.
• Design reproducible training pipelines and model promotion flows.
• Balance reliability, performance and cost for ML workloads.
• Act as go-to expert for complex MLOps questions on pipelines and monitoring.
• Lead reviews to de-risk designs and ensure platform standards.
• Collaborate with Fraud/Anomaly teams to align SLAs/SLOs.
