Fortra is seeking an experienced ML Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain ML pipelines and data science solutions across multiple products. You will lead complex ML projects, deploy models in production, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design scalable architectures.

The role emphasizes mentorship, documentation, and staying current with MLOps and AI tools in cybersecurity contexts. Strong programming and cloud experience are essential.

Formación

• At least 7 years in engineering and/or data science roles with 1 year in a senior role.
• Strong academic background (MS or PhD) can substitute several years of experience.
• Thorough knowledge of software engineering and data science techniques and methodologies.
• Experience coding in Python, Java, or C++ and building ML/DS systems.
• Extensive MLOps experience: data processing, training, deployment as microservices.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Proven track record deploying ML models in production.

Responsabilidades

• Lead highly complex ML engineering projects with significant independence.
• Design, develop, test, document, and debug software for customer-facing and internal use.
• Deploy, scale, and maintain ML models in production environments.
• Develop scalable ML architectures and pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists to optimize and evaluate models.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge on MLOps practices.
• Define roadmaps with architects and engineering managers.
• Engage with teams to understand requirements and constraints across products.
• Write documentation based on architecture and engineering requirements.
