Multiverse Computing is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team in Spain. You will design, train and optimize quantum‑inspired AI models, integrate them into products, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver cutting‑edge NLP capabilities.

The role emphasizes compression, benchmarking, and deploying LLMs with a focus on performance, robustness, and scalability in an ethics‑driven, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, training or fine-tuning deep learning models (transformers or CV).
• Strong Python programming with PyTorch and HuggingFace.
• Experience with AWS, Docker and cloud deployment of AI solutions.
• Solid math foundations and understanding of DL algorithms.
• Excellent problem solving, debugging, performance analysis, and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop compression and acceleration techniques for LLMs and related AI models.
• Evaluate model performance, fine‑tune and optimise for accuracy and efficiency.
• Build LLM-based applications such as RAG and AI agents.
• Propose model improvements and novel quantum‑inspired solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and document experiments.
