Multiverse Computing is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to advance language models with quantum-inspired approaches. You will design, train, and refine LLMs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to cutting-edge AI research within a fast-growing quantum software company.

Responsibilities include building RAG solutions and AI agents, evaluating models, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• PhD/masters in AI/CS/Data Science or related field.
• 5+ years designing or training DL models, preferably transformers or CV.
• 5+ years using transformer models with libraries (HuggingFace Transformers, Accelerate, Datasets).
• Solid mathematical foundations in DL/NN (training and inference).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills.
• Strong GPU architecture knowledge and LLM hardware/software infra.
• Proficient Python and libraries (PyTorch, HuggingFace).
• Cloud/AWS experience; Docker and cloud deployment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-paced teams.
• Publications in DL or related fields a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement compression techniques for LLMs using quantum-inspired methods.
• Evaluate and benchmark model performance; fine-tune LLMs for accuracy and efficiency.
• Build LLM-based applications such as RAG and AI agents.
• Assess model strengths/weaknesses; propose improvements and novel solutions.
• Train and deliver custom deep learning models for clients.
• Document development processes, experiments and results.
• Mentor juniors and lead code reviews.
