Grafana Labs, a fully remote company, is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for Developer Advocacy in Spain. You will lead the evolution of an interactive learning system, building real-time, personalized recommendation models and partnering with engineers and analytics to measure performance.

The role emphasizes experimentation, measurement, and cross-functional collaboration within a distributed team.

Formación

• Experience building recommendation, ranking, or next-best-action systems.
• Hands-on ownership of models in production environments.
• Strong product thinking and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Evolve and improve the Interactive Learning recommender system.
• Develop personalized candidate selection, ranking, sequencing, and next-best-action methods.
• Own a real-time recommendation service and its monitoring.
• Build, validate, version, and iterate on models used by the recommender system.
• Own model training and serving pipelines.
• Define a clear notion of recommendation quality and establish offline/online evaluation metrics.
• Collaborate with software engineers and data analysts to productionize models safely.
• Partner with Product Analytics for metrics, instrumentation, and experimentation.
