Amazon is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design initiatives across the EU. You will define standards, manage the basis of design, and drive cost reduction for building operations.

You’ll work with internal teams and external consultants to deploy mechanical solutions and support prototype equipment validation. The role integrates with GBDE to centralize facility design templates and ensure high standards across global facilities, supporting sustainability and rapid decision

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience communicating with executive stakeholders.
• Experience in project or program management.
• Experience in communicating across all organizational levels.
• HVAC systems design experience for industrial/building projects.
• Knowledge of Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Refrigeration Codes.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.

Responsabilidades

• Define, document, communicate and own mechanical and plumbing design standards.
• Maintain basis of design for mechanical and plumbing disciplines.
• Track key metrics and performance.
• Consult SME to stakeholders and build business cases for building improvements.
• Develop and manage mechanical design specifications and ABAS deployment.
• Lead pilot projects and drive cost optimization in building operations.
• Own prototype equipment specs and approval for non-prototype equipment.
• Collaborate with third-party consultants and manage cost/quality of their work.
• Coordinate across Amazon groups to share best practices.
