Job summary

Grupo Oesía in Spain is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team. You will design, develop and integrate electronic equipment used in high-reliability systems, performing structural and thermal analyses and preparing manufacturing drawings.

The role requires hands-on SolidWorks, Ansys and FloTHERM experience, plus knowledge of materials and environmental testing. Proficiency in technical English is preferred and a strong analytical mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• +5 years in mechanical design of electronic equipment, avionics or high-reliability systems.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and drawings.
• Experience in preparing technical documentation and manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge of Ansys, FloTHERM or similar tools.
• Knowledge of materials, machining processes and surface treatments.
• Experience with environmental and mechanical tests.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of electronic equipment using SolidWorks, including 3D modelling and manufacturing drawings.
• Develop and prepare technical documentation for the design.
• Perform structural analyses using Ansys or equivalent tools.
• Conduct thermal simulations using FloTHERM or similar tools.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes for each design.
• Define and monitor mechanical/thermal requirements and tests.
• Support manufacturing, integration and validation phases.
• Collaborate with electronics, systems and production teams.
