Nobu Hotel Barcelona is seeking a Senior Marketing & Communications Manager to lead strategy and execution of high-impact campaigns driving revenue and guest engagement. You will direct a multidisciplinary team, coordinate with agencies and senior stakeholders, and position Nobu as the premier luxury lifestyle destination in Barcelona.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
• 5+ years in senior marketing, communications or brand roles, preferably in hospitality or luxury brands.
• Proven ability to deliver commercially driven, multi-channel campaigns.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, and performance analytics.
• Experience managing agencies and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

The Senior Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of high impact marketing campaigns that drive revenue, elevate brand visibility, and deliver exceptional guest engagement. Commercially minded and sitting at the intersection of brand, digital performance, creative production and guest experience, the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager leads a multi-disciplinary team and works closely with agency partners and senior stakeholders to drive measurable commercial success while positioning Nobu Hotel Barcelona as the premier luxury lifestyle destination in the city.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with revenue, occupancy, and customer acquisition targets
• Own the annual marketing budget, allocating resource across channels with clear ROI accountability
• Identify new opportunities to expand brand reach, attract high value guests, and drive commercial performance
• Lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital, CRM, social media, partnerships, and experiential marketing

Digital Marketing & Social Media

• Deliver digital-first acquisition strategies across website, search, display, paid social, and emerging channels
• Develop content plans and optimise performance to achieve commercial objectives.

PR Partnerships & Brand Management

• Build and maintain influential relationships with media, journalists, content creators, luxury partners, and industry stakeholders
• Develop strategic partnerships, collaborations, and activations that strengthen brand relevance and drive engagement
• Lead brand positioning and creative direction across all guest facing communications and campaigns
• Oversee photography, videography, creative production, and content creation
• Act as Brand Guardian within Nobu Hotel Barcelona ensuring consistency in brand storytelling & image across all touchpoints.
• Work closely with wider teams to ensure brand positioning and focuses are aligned across the business

Stakeholder & Agency Management

• Ability to inspire and influence key stakeholders in proposed marketing activity
• Manage agencies, suppliers and media partners across multiple regions.
• Manage and mentor the Marketing & Communications team fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or relevant work experience
• Experience: 5+ years in a senior marketing, communications or brand role, ideally in hospitality, leisure, entertainment or experiential brands.
• Expertise:
• Demonstrable success delivering commercially driven, multi-channel marketing campaigns
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition, CRM, and performance marketing
• Experience managing agencies and influencing senior stakeholders
• Highly analytical with the ability to transform data and insights into strategic action
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and building aspirational brands
• Excellent presenter and communicator, able to confidently influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Confidence owning a multi-channel budget and strategy.
• An inspiring and collaborative leader with experience building, mentoring and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
• Languages: Native English and Spanish. Catalan and other languages are highly valued.
