Mr. Marine is seeking a proactive Service Engineer to support on-board marine elevator systems across Spain and Portugal. The role combines hands-on electrical/mechanical work with diagnostics, inspections, and customer interaction.

Requirements include a engineering degree, 10+ years in elevator service, fluency in English, and willingness to travel extensively for domestic and international vessel attendance.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical.
• Professional or vocational qualification in elevator engineering is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of elevator industry experience covering service, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspection.

Responsabilidades

• Perform annual, periodic, and technical inspections of marine elevators.
• Carry out planned, preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, control, and PLC-related faults.
• Execute repairs, adjustments, parts replacements, modernization works, and major repairs on elevator systems.
• Perform heavy field jobs such as traveling cable replacement and wire rope renewal as required.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and service documentation.
• Maintain clear service reports, inspection findings, parts usage records, risk observations, and customer communication notes.
