Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Spain seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes across sewing, assembly, delivery, and distribution. You will apply engineering principles and lean methods to drive improvements and ensure equipment and fixtures meet standards.

You will develop experiments, analyze results, train technicians, manage projects, and support compliance with FDA-regulated medical device standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related scientific field.
• Master's degree or PhD is preferred depending on experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Optimize manufacturing processes using Six Sigma/LEAN methods.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ensure equipment meets standards.
• Develop experiments and tests to qualify and validate processes.
• Analyze and resolve manufacturing and compliance issues.
• Develop training and work instructions for production.
• Lead project plans and manage deliverables.
• Oversee manufacturing support tasks and coordinate technicians.
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
