Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to provide hands-on support for manufacturing operations in Valencia. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, ensure equipment availability, and contribute to validation and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires an Associate degree in a related technical field, at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, and strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent technical qualification in a related discipline.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Experience documenting maintenance activities in electronic systems.
• Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies in manufacturing.
• Intermediate English to understand technical docs and communicate with OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities, work orders, and interventions with traceability.
• Support equipment/process validation activities and contribute to reliability projects.
• Apply Lean and continuous improvement methods in daily work.
• Maintain and review technical docs related to validation and improvement.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers on site with cross-functional teams.
• Work in cleanroom environments following gowning and contamination-control rules.
• Occasionally perform interventions during production or outside regular shifts.
