GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform is seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to join the Infrastructure team in Spain. The role focuses on ensuring stability, availability, performance, and security of the IBM Z environment.

You will manage IPLs, upgrades, DR testing, and collaborate with IBM and ISV vendors. The ideal candidate has deep IBM Z and z/OS expertise, experience with SMP/E, PTFs, APARs, RACF, and a strong incident management mindset.

Formación

• Experience with IBM zSystems and z/OS environments.
• Familiarity with SMP/E, PTFs and APARs.
• Experience with RACF security operations.

Responsabilidades

• Install, customize, maintain, and upgrade IBM z/OS.
• Perform system software installation and SMP/E management.
• Install and support IBM and ISV software.
• Manage system IPLs and maintenance windows.
• Monitor performance and capacity for optimization.
• Analyze and resolve complex system problems.
• Apply IBM maintenance, PTFs, APARs, upgrades.
• Support disaster recovery testing and BC initiatives.
• Maintain system security with RACF admins.
• Support automation and scheduling solutions.
• Produce and maintain technical docs and standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues.
• Participate in on-call support and major incidents.
