GOSP – Generali Operations Service Platform in Madrid is seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our Infrastructure team and ensure stability, availability, performance, and security of our IBM Z environment.

You will install and maintain z/OS, manage SMP/E and PTFs, coordinate with IBM and ISV vendors, and support disaster recovery and security initiatives, while contributing to documentation and on-call incident response.

Formación

• Experience in IBM z/OS and zSystems environment.
• Strong knowledge of SMP/E, PTF management, and APAR handling.
• Experience with IBM and ISV software products on z/OS.
• Familiarity with RACF security and disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to document procedures and maintain technical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Install, customize, maintain, and upgrade IBM z/OS operating systems.
• Perform system software installation, maintenance, and SMP/E software management.
• Install, configure, and support IBM and ISV software products.
• Manage IPLs, maintenance windows and planned infrastructure changes.
• Monitor performance and capacity for optimization.
• Analyze and resolve complex system problems and production incidents.
• Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity initiatives.
• Maintain system security in collaboration with RACF administrators.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and standards.
• Work with vendors to resolve technical issues and participate in on-call support.
