GOSP – Generali Operations Service Platform in Madrid seeks an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our Infrastructure team and ensure the stability, availability, performance, and security of our IBM Z environment.

Within the Mainframe Operation unit, you will install, maintain, and upgrade z/OS, manage IPLs, monitor capacity, and collaborate on disaster recovery, security, and automation initiatives.

Formación

• Experience with IBM z/OS and SMP/E maintenance.
• Knowledge of RACF and security operations.
• Experience in disaster recovery planning and incident management.
• Automation and scheduling skills for mainframe environments.

Responsabilidades

• Install, customize, maintain, and upgrade IBM z/OS operating systems.
• Perform system software installation, maintenance, and SMP/E software management.
• Install, configure, and support IBM and ISV software products.
• Manage system IPLs, maintenance windows, and planned infrastructure changes.
• Monitor system performance and capacity; optimize where possible.
• Analyze and resolve complex system problems and production incidents.
• Implement IBM maintenance, PTFs, APARs, and software upgrades.
• Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity initiatives.
• Maintain system security with RACF collaboration.
• Support automation and scheduling solutions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and standards.
• Work with IBM and third-party vendors to resolve issues.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management.
