Manpower España seeks a Senior M&A Associate to join its Barcelona office. The role involves leading due diligence, supporting end-to-end acquisitions with senior stakeholders, and conducting market research to identify opportunities.

You will prepare board-ready materials and analyze business models, financials, and strategic positioning of targets. You will build and review complex financial models, assist in investment memorandums, and coordinate with auditors and advisers during reviews.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead and manage due diligence processes for potential transactions.
  • Support the end-to-end acquisition process, including execution and negotiations alongside senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and industry analysis to identify investment opportunities.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for boards, investors, banks, and other stakeholders.
  • Analyse and assess business models and strategic positioning of target companies.
  • Build and review financial models, including company valuations, LBO models, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support the preparation of investment memorandums and transaction documentation.
  • Coordinate with auditors and external advisors during financial and operational reviews.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for portfolio monitoring and performance tracking.
  • Produce financial reports and consolidation packages for internal and client use.
  • Implement and oversee financial best practices across the company and its portfolio.
  • Identify new investment opportunities through data analysis, research, and market intelligence.
  • Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives linked to investment activities.
  • Provide additional support on strategic or ad hoc projects as required by senior management.

Manpower is partnering with a leading international investment fund to expand its Barcelona office with the hire of a Senior M&A Associate. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment and play a key role across the full investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage due diligence processes for potential transactions.
  • Support the end-to-end acquisition process, including execution and negotiations alongside senior stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 9 years' experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction services.
  • Previous experience in audit or accounting is a plus.
  • International experience or exposure is highly valued.
  • Full professional proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow professionally.
