Manpower España, partnered with an international investment fund, seeks an M&A Associate in Barcelona to join a dynamic team. You will support due diligence, assist end‑to‑end acquisitions, and conduct market research for new opportunities.

The role requires at least 3 years in M&A or related fields, strong financial modelling, and fluent English. You will interact with senior stakeholders and help prepare reports for boards and investors.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, PE or transaction services.
• Fluency in English; international experience valued.

Manpower is partnering with an international investment fund to expand its Barcelona office with the hire of anM&A Associate. We are looking for a professional with at least 3 years of experience on financial modelling and fluency in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Support due diligence processes for potential transactions.
• Support the end‑to‑end acquisition process, including execution and negotiations alongside senior stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth market research and industry analysis to identify investment opportunities.
• Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for boards, investors, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Analyse and assess business models and strategic positioning of target companies.
• Build and review financial models, including company valuations, LBO models, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support the preparation of investment memorandums and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors and external advisors during financial and operational reviews.
• Develop and maintain financial models for portfolio monitoring and performance tracking.
• Produce financial reports and consolidation packages for internal and client use.
• Implement and oversee financial best practices across the company and its portfolio.
• Identify new investment opportunities through data analysis, research, and market intelligence.
• Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives linked to investment activities.
• Provide additional support on strategic or ad hoc projects as required by senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or transaction services. Experience on modelling at a Big 4 would be a plus.
• International experience or exposure is highly valued.
• Full professional proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow professionally.
