Nordex Group in Madrid seeks a Senior Load Calculation Engineer (LOMOS) to join the Loads Calculation Sites team. You will analyze complex data sets, run aeroelastic simulations and assess site-specific loads and controller behavior across lifecycle stages.

With a MSc in related fields and 8+ years of experience, you will apply probabilistic methods, help calibrate control strategies, and contribute to toolchain improvements, while producing technical reports and supporting certification.

Formación

• M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or similar.
• Complementary training in Bladed, Alaska, HAWC2, Flex5, Python, MATLAB. Applied AI methodologies (ML, NN...).
• +8 years in loads, control, aeroelastic simulation, site suitability or data analytics.
• Professional level of English; Spanish/German are nice to have.
• Availability to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior-level support to the LOMOS project, including analyzing and structuring complex data sets such as load estimation results and SCADA data.

Your Tasks

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Load Calcultation Engineer LOMOS (m/f/d). Within the Load Calculation Sites team, you will perform the following tasks:

• Provide senior-level support to the LOMOS project, including analyzing and structuring complex data sets such as load estimation results and SCADA data.
• Perform aeroelastic simulations (load calculations) for site-specific suitability assessment (at any lifecycle stage, incl service). Analyzing site condition impacts on loads, components and controller behavior.
• Assess associated uncertainties and their impact using probabilistic methods.
• Support definition, calibration, and verification of control strategies.
• Contribute to methodology and toolchain improvements.
• Generate technical reports and documentation.
• Support certification, design updates, and claims investigations.

Your Profile

• M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or similar.
• Complementary training in Bladed, Alaska, HAWC2, Flex5, Python, MATLAB. Applied AI methodologies (ML, NN...)
