Multiverse Computing seeks an experienced LLM Engineer (Senior and Mid level) to join our team in Spain. You will design, implement, and optimize language models, integrating them into our quantum-enabled products in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in transformer models (mid) or 5+ years (senior), strong Python, PyTorch, and HuggingFace skills, and fluency in English. A hybrid work setup in Donostia/San Sebastián is available.

Formación

• Master's or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• Mid: 2+ years of hands-on experience with designing, training or fine-tuning transformer models.
• Senior: 5+ years of hands-on experience with designing, training or fine-tuning transformer and other deep learning models (e.g. computer vision).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience using LLM and Transformer models, with excellent command of libraries such as HuggingFace Transformers, Accelerate, Datasets, etc.
• Solid mathematical foundations and theoretical understanding of deep learning algorithms and neural networks, both training and inference.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, performance analysis, test design, and documentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the fundamentals of GPU architectures.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and experience with relevant libraries (PyTorch, HuggingFace, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (ideally AWS), containerization technologies (Docker) and with deploying AI solutions in a cloud environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and communicate complex ideas effectively.
• Previous research publications in deep learning is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Preferred qualifications include Spanish language skills, HPC experience, data handling, deployment tools (TensorRT, vLLM), and DevOps/MLOps practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement new techniques to compress Large Language Models using quantum-inspired ideas.
• Perform rigorous evaluations and benchmarks to improve model accuracy, robustness, and efficiency.
• Assess model strengths/weaknesses and propose enhancements.
• Serve as a domain expert for LLMs and identify quantum AI-driven opportunities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of development, experiments, and results.
• Mentor and guide junior team members and share knowledge across the team.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with LLM trends and evaluate new tools and technologies.
