We are looking for :
The ideal candidate will have experience in consumer-facing companies within the healthcare or medical device sector, and a strong background in consumer law, regulatory compliance, litigation, and corporate law. This role combines hands‑on legal work with cross-departmental collaboration, supporting business operations across multiple jurisdictions, first scope specially focus in Germany, and helping to ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Your responsibilities include :
1. Legal Drafting & Contract Management :
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including :
- Informed consents and Terms & Conditions
- IT and Data Processing Agreements
- Real estate and lease agreements
- GDPR-related agreements
- Third Party Agreements and partnership contracts
- Maintain contract templates and ensure consistency across jurisdictions.
2. Legal Advice & Cross-Functional Support :
- Provide clear, practical legal advice to various departments (operations, marketing, medical, HR, expansion, finance).
- Support internal stakeholders in day-to-day legal questions related to company operations, patient relations, and clinical compliance.
- Coordinate with external counsel across Germany, Spain, and other countries.
3. Regulatory & Compliance :
- Monitor and ensure compliance with healthcare, medical device, and consumer protection regulations.
- Provide legal guidance on product classification, labelling requirements, and marketing restrictions.
- Oversee advertising and promotional materials to ensure compliance with local laws and ethical standards.
- Ensure adherence to data protection (GDPR) and health & safety regulations.
- Conduct product and service risk assessments and support risk management initiatives.
4. Corporate Governance & Record Keeping :
- Prepare and maintain corporate documentation, including board minutes and resolutions.
- Support implementation of corporate governance best practices across entities.
- Assist in the organisation of board meetings and ensure legal compliance in corporate actions.
5. Litigation & Proceedings :
- Support and coordinate legal proceedings and claims management (consumer, civil, or regulatory).
- Liaise with external law firms and manage procedural documentation.
6. Expansion & International Operations :
- Support the international expansion team by advising on local legal requirements for new market entries.
- Conduct legal research on new jurisdictions and draft risk reports.
Requirements :
- Full professional English proficiency;
- A qualified lawyer with 3+ years of experience.
- Nice-to-have experience in a consulting firm or a fast-growing in-house corporation.
- Nice-to-have knowledge of German
- Self-motivated with excellent analytical and organisational skills.
- Outstanding negotiation and research skills.
