Novartis is seeking an Associate Director for DDIT ISC Risk Governance & Enablement in Barcelona. The role defines and governs enterprise processes to manage risks, issues and exceptions, enabling its adoption through fit-for-purpose processes, technology, automation, data and insights.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across DD&IT, ISC and other functions to ensure alignment with requirements, standards and regulatory needs. Strong governance and cross-functional influence are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT, information security, risk management, business administration, engineering or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification or professional certification is an advantage.
• Experience defining or improving enterprise governance frameworks.
• Experience evaluating enterprise tools and driving process improvements.
• Understanding automation, data analytics and AI-enabled ways of working.

Responsabilités

• Define and improve DD&IT risk, issue and exception governance processes.
• Establish governance frameworks with clear roles, accountabilities and escalation paths.
• Manage lifecycle and relationships between risks, issues, controls and remediation actions.
• Ensure auditability, transparency and timely escalation of material risks.
• Lead process simplification, standardization and continuous improvement across DD&IT risk governance.
• Evaluate tools and technology solutions, including integration and modernization.
• Identify and implement automation and responsible AI opportunities with oversight.
• Define risk data, metrics, analytics, and reporting to support decisions.
• Drive stakeholder adoption and cross-functional collaboration across DD&IT.
