Job summary

RSB - Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials Association is seeking an independent Sustainability Manager for maternity leave coverage in Spain. The role supports GHG accounting, Scope 3 reporting, and environmental attribute accounting for biomaterials, with remote work and occasional travel.

You will lead LCA and GHG assessments, develop project reports, and contribute to RSB methodologies. Start October 2026, 7–9 months, with potential future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in environmental field.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in LCA GHG calculation and assessment methodologies.
• Experience leading the implementation of complex projects.
• Fluency in English and strong technical writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client-facing projects on sustainable feedstocks, GHG accounting, and LCA.
• Develop reports, guidelines, and training content for diverse audiences.
• Lead and coordinate LCA and GHG assessments per EU RED, CORSIA, etc.
• Support knowledge needs on cross-cutting LCA GHG topics across sectors.
• Contribute to development of LCA GHG methodologies and tools.
• Perform literature reviews, benchmarks, and gap analyses.
• Engage with stakeholders and coordinate with external consultants.
