About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced laboratory professional to join our analytical team as a Senior Lab Technician.

The ideal candidate must have extensive hands‑on experience

with HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and GC-MS (Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry), and a passion for analytical precision.

This position offers the opportunity to lead analytical operations in the disruptive field of plastics enzymatic depolymerization, and contribute to large‑scale high-impact projects in a fast‑paced, research‑driven environment.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in analytical chemistry laboratories.
  • Proven expertise in HPLC and GC‑MS operation and data interpretation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in method development and validation.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower, ChemStation, MassHunter, etc.).
Key Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HPLC and GC‑MS systems for quantitative and qualitative analysis of samples.

Supervise daily laboratory activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Develop and validate analytical methods for new compounds, formulations, or materials.

Review and approve analytical data, ensuring accuracy, reproducibility, and proper documentation.

Manage instrument calibration schedules, reagent inventories, and lab resource planning.

Prepare detailed technical reports and contribute to scientific presentations.
