Job summary

Core Laboratories is seeking a Chief Analyst to oversee shift operations, coordinate lab workflow, and ensure timely, accurate reporting. The role requires organizing staff and processes, maintaining safety and service quality, and closely coordinating with the Laboratory Manager and Branch Manager.

Responsibilities include reviewing reports, managing costs, and ensuring compliance with procedures while meeting client specifications. A driving license is required and variable shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum professional qualification related to chemistry or laboratory work and/or a university degree in Chemistry or Engineering; or 2-3 years of relevant customer service or laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of petrochemical products, chemicals, gases, other liquid cargoes, and/or agricultural products.
• Excellent verbal and written command of the local language and English.
• Advanced computer skills (MS Windows, Word, Excel, and company systems).

Responsibilities

• Assist Laboratory Manager and/or Branch Manager in carrying out responsibilities at the location.
• Organize all departmental processes and personnel during the shift to meet client needs on time.
• Run operations cost-effectively while ensuring safety, service quality, and asset maintenance.
• Coordinate and manage workflow among laboratory, chemists, and office staff to deliver timely reports.
• Review laboratory reports for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness; provide updates to clients.
• Participate in safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
