Job summary

Core Laboratories in Barcelona, Spain is seeking a Chief Analyst to oversee shift operations, organize departmental processes, and ensure timely laboratory reports.

You will coordinate with Laboratory Manager and branch managers, maintain safety standards, and ensure compliance with Saybolt and Core Laboratories procedures while striving for cost efficiency.

A background in chemistry or lab work, plus leadership and analytical skills, is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum professional qualification related to chemistry or laboratory work.
• University degree in Chemistry or Engineering, or 2–3 years of relevant customer service or laboratory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written command of the local language and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Laboratory Manager and Branch Manager in carrying out their responsibilities at the location.
• Ensure efficient organization of all departmental processes and personnel during the shift.
• Run operations at the lowest possible cost while meeting safety and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with managers on all assignments and ensure client needs are met on time.
• Maintain safety, compliance with procedures, and timely reporting to clients.
