A leading technology recruitment firm in Málaga seeks a Senior Java Engineer to design and maintain scalable backend services and optimize RESTful APIs. You'll join a new team from the beginning with opportunities for growth. The role starts onsite for six months with a competitive salary ranging from €55,000 to €75,000, transitioning to hybrid work afterwards.

Are you a Senior Java Engineer based in Malaga, Spain?

Our client are an award-winning software provider based in Sweden who are setting up a new office in Malaga. This is your chance to join their new team at an early stage!

As a Senior Java Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in Java with Spring Boot, build and optimise RESTful APIs, and manage deployments on AWS and Kubernetes. You’ll also design and maintain CI / CD pipelines, integrate asynchronous communication via queueing systems, whilst working closely with the PO and frontend team.

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will already have...

• Senior-level experience
• Primary skills in Java and Spring Boot
• Solid SQL
• Experience of microservices architecture
• Experience with AWS
• Docker, Kubernetes and CI / CD pipeline experience
• Fluency in English
