UST is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a skilled engineering team. You will design, develop, and evolve mission-critical applications using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures.

You will build scalable microservices, leverage event-driven tech with Kafka, and implement robust testing. Collaboration across teams, documentation, and CI/CD contributions are essential for success.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• 3+ years with Java 17 or Java 21, including modern features.
• Strong Spring Framework and Spring Boot production experience.
• Reactive programming with Project Reactor or RxJava, or async programming with CompletableFuture.
• Production experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers, including streaming RPCs and schema evolution.
• Solid concurrency knowledge and thread lifecycle management.
• JUnit 5, Mockito, AssertJ knowledge; integration tests with real dependencies.
• Kafka consumer/producer semantics and cloud experience with AWS.
• Board-level understanding of Redis, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB in production.
• Excellent written communication; English level C1+.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable microservices with reactive programming principles.
• Develop and maintain gRPC APIs and Protobuf schemas.
• Implement concurrent, high-performance solutions with proper synchronization.
• Work with Kafka-based event-driven architectures and data stores.
• Create comprehensive automated tests (unit/integration/contract).
• Collaborate on architecture decisions, design reviews, and technical docs.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Produce design documents and PR descriptions.
