UST is seeking a Java Developer to join a highly innovative team working within a microservice-based cloud environment in the utility technology sector. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting secure, scalable, and maintainable Java services, APIs, and integrations that connect critical business systems and internal tools.

You will design and implement Java services, REST APIs, integration adapters, and extension components using Java and the Spring ecosystem.

Formación

• Proven experience in Java development with enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA and SQL optimization.
• Design and consume REST APIs and work with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Solid testing experience with JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews.
• Understanding of secure coding, authentication, authorization, observability and monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement Java services, REST APIs, integration adapters, and extension components using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Translate business requirements into clean, maintainable code.
• Develop RESTful APIs with validation, versioning, pagination, security, and error handling.
• Implement reliable event-driven integrations with retry, timeout and idempotency patterns.
• Build persistence layers with Hibernate/JPA and SQL best practices.
• Integrate microservices with CRM, finance, payment, analytics, web and mobile platforms.
• Create and maintain unit, integration, and contract tests; participate in code reviews.
• Support CI/CD, deployment processes, and cloud-native practices.
• Contribute to documentation and service operational procedures.
