UST España & Latam is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services in Java 17/21 with Spring Boot. You will craft scalable microservices, leverage reactive programming, and implement gRPC APIs with Protobuf schemas.

You will collaborate on Kafka-based event-driven architectures, ensure robust testing, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments across a global team.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional Java experience.
• 3+ years with Java 17/21 and modern features (records, sealed classes, pattern matching, virtual threads).
• Strong Spring Framework and Spring Boot expertise in production."
• Reactive programming experience with Project Reactor or RxJava, or advanced asynchronous programming.
• Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers, including streaming RPCs and schema evolution.
• Solid concurrency fundamentals and thread lifecycle management.
• Extensive testing experience (JUnit 5, Mockito, AssertJ).
• Kafka consumer/producer semantics understanding.
• Cloud experience with AWS and container runtimes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable microservices using reactive programming principles.
• Develop and maintain gRPC APIs and Protobuf schemas with proper evolution.
• Ensure high performance with concurrent/thread-safe solutions.
• Work with Kafka-based event-driven architectures and data stores.
• Create and maintain automated tests (unit/integration/contract).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
