Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Java Developer to contribute to development and maintenance of customized software solutions for a major European client in the public sector. The project includes tax administration domain software with a 20+ person team, focusing on secure, scalable platforms for administrative processes and data management.

You will implement components, perform integration and testing, participate in estimation, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery while

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to the design specifications.
• Perform system integration and testing, problem troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders for efficient progress.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis and prioritization).
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
